Amy was honored to have served as a keynote speaker at events such as TEDx Phoenix, OPEN Karachi Entrepreneurship Conference, Women Investing in Women, Denver Startup Week, Phoenix Startup Week, and One Million Cups.Amy is a graduate of the University Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration with an emphasis in Event Management, and earned an Executive Certificate in Global Leadership from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Originally from Upstate New York, Amy is a mother to one daughter, god-mother to many in Haiti, and an adoptive mother to an Afghan refugee family in Las Vegas. Amy’s philanthropic focus continues to be on women entrepreneurs, the refugee population, and children’s educational initiatives.

Co-Founder, Think Global

Amy Scerra is the President and co-founder of Think Global Holdings. Her key responsibilities include client management, international and domestic community building, facilitating international partnerships with US Embassies, Chambers of Commerce and various
community strengthening organizations.

Throughout Amy’s career, she has worked in partnership with Goldman Sachs and the US Department of State as the Program Director for the 10,000 Women Program at Thunderbird School of Global Management, a $100 million investment in women entrepreneurs from emerging economies. Her role allowed her to partner and work directly with US Ambassador Melanne Verveer and the Office of Global Women’s Issues, as well as 26 United States Embassies around the globe.

As President of Think Global Holdings, Amy and her team have solidified partnerships with the United States Embassy Port-au-Prince, OPEN Karachi, World Vision Port-au-Prince, The Women’s Digital League (Pakistan), University of Denver, Arizona State University, and the Refugee Center of Las Vegas (ECDC). Most recently, Amy was invited to attend the 67th National Security Forum (NSF) at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.
